Bubble Snakes
Double fun: reusing materials in your house AND keeping the kiddos occupied! My favorite! This one is another simple activity using only a plastic bottle and a cloth. You can use any cloth - an old washcloth, a rag, an old T shirt... just about anything will work. Dip the end in any bubble solution or even some watered-down dish soap. Make sure to tell them not to breathe in! Some bubble solutions taste terrible!
