Slime
Maybe you've done slime once or twice (or a thousand times) before. Maybe it hasn't exactly worked right. There are so many slime recipes and kits out there, with borax, without borax, edible... Try something new! Have you added shaving cream for fluffy slime, or styrofoam for crunch slime, or essential oils for scented slime? Have you tried less activator for slimy-slime or more activator for putty-slime? Have the kids done experiments to see how far they can stretch it or how long it can stick to the wall? For littles, have you tried giving them a plastic knife or scissors to practice cutting? Or for older kids, have you tried a "spin the wheel challenge" for what they get to add?
Recommendation: I have tried kits that have not worked at all, but this borax recipe has worked perfectly for me. If you want to stay away from borax, there are tons of borax-free recipes out there, as well. We were not impressed with the Jello slime that's out there, it was too stiff, but if you have a kid that wants to taste everything, that will work!
